The SouthWest Communities Resource Centre (SWCRC) was created from the community’s need for a local hub that could provide support to vulnerable families. Since the opening of its doors in 2003, we continue to embrace our mandate of supporting, teaching and providing resources and supports when life becomes challenging.
Thousands of individuals, and families alike, have found support at the SWCRC through:
- Free programs and services
- Workshops and speaker series
- One-on-one guidance from our community resource workers.
We provide these services through our many community partnerships with other social agencies, community schools and associations, recreation partners, and a group of dedicated volunteers.
Together, we instill hope today for individuals and families and build community bridges for a brighter tomorrow.
